The Muskegon Community College baseball team improved to 8-6 on the season with an 11-0 victory Monday over the Aquinas College JV team.

Starting pitcher Kyle Lawson tossed seven strong innings, giving up three hits while striking out six. Reliever Payton Tyndall closed out the last two innings for the Jayhawks.

The Jayhawks were led offensively by Robert Spencer with two hits and four RBI. Luke Bunting added three hits while Adrian Anderson, Chad McClintock and Ryan Beffrey each had two.

The Jayhawks will host Davenport University on Thursday at 2 p.m.
