Ludington finished in third place in the team competition with 18 points while North Muskegon took seventh with 12.

Bloomfield Hills Academy of Sacred Heart won the team state title with 34 points.

Ludington’s No. 1 and No 2 doubles teams were both state-runners up in their respective flights, advancing to the championship round.

The No. 1 doubles team of Stephanie Kelly and Olivia Laman and the No. 2 team of Julie Maltbie and Claire Flewelling each had first round byes, won three matches, then lost to teams from Bloomfield Hills Academy of Sacred Heart in the title round.

Ludington’s Kennedi Killips advanced to the semifinals in the fourth singles flight.

North Muskegon’s Paige Twining advanced the semifinal round in the third singles flight.
