The Ludington golf team took first, second and third place individually and cruised to the Division 3 team district tournament title at Oceana Golf Course on Thursday.

The Orioles combined for a 305 score, Shelby finished second with a 338, \followed by Big Rapids (339), Remus Chippewa Hills (347), Whitehall (363) and Ravenna (372). All six of those teams qualified for regionals next week.

Medalist Spencer Hackert shot a 72 to lead Ludington. His teammates Race Anderson and Chase Lakari took second and third, respectively, with scores of 74 and 77. Ethan Leavitt (82) finished sixth overall to round out Ludington’s scores.

For Shelby, Keaton Inglis tied for third with a 77, John Carey’s 84 put him in ninth, Brianna Hukill (85) finished 11th and Andrew McConnell (92) finished 24th overall.

Whitehall was led by Ian DeVlieg (87, 15th place), Derek Baker (88, 16th place), Isaiah Toelle (92, 24th place) and Hayden Collins (96, 33rd place).

For Ravenna, Trey Guzman shot a 92 for 16th place, followed by  Reece Jones (89, 18th place), Connor Behan (92, 24th place), and Mathew Russell (103, 47th place).

Qualifying for regionals as individuals were Mason County Central’s Noah Genson (85, 11th place), Hart’s Cornelius Karow (90, 22nd place), and Montague’s Riley Norkett (91, 23rd place).
