Reeths-Puffer split its softball doubleheader with Holland on Thursday. The Rockets won 5-3 in the opener but fell 9-8 in Game 2.
Pitcher Emily French led Reeths-Puffer (18-12), going all seven innings with seven strikeouts.
Joanna Skuse had three hits for the Rockets while Sarah Dick had two hits and an RBI and Skylar Olson had a double and two RBIs.
In Game 2, the Rockets fell just short with three runs in the bottom of the seventh.
Carly Murat had four hits and an RBI and Dick had two hits and an RBI for Reeths-Puffer.
Skuse, Olson and French each had two hits in the loss.
