Detroit sports glance: Detroit Red Wings pick six players in the 2015 NHL Draft

The Detroit Red Wings made six selections in the 2015 NHL Draft over the weekend.

The Red Wings picked left wing Evgeny Svechnikov in the first round with the 19^th pick in the draft. He played last season for Cape Breton of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Detroit picked defensemen Vili Saarijarvi in the third round with the 73^rd pick. He was a member of Green Bay of the United States Hockey League last season.

Goaltender Joren Van Pottelberghe out of Sweden was picked in the fourth round with the 110^th pick.

Center Chase Pearson was picked in the fifth round  with the 140^th pick. He played for Youngstown of the USHL last year.

Defenseman Patrick Holway was selected in the sixth round with the 170^th pick. He play last season for Boston Advantage U-18 team.

Left wing Adam Marsh was picked in the seventh round with the 200^th pick. He play for Saint John of the QMJHL last year.
