Leading the way for the Jayhawks was freshman Miguel Flores as he tallied his first career hat trick as a Jayhawk all in the second half.

Jesus Corona got the Jayhawks going as Corona scored just 65 seconds into the game off an assist from Flores and Edgar Alvarez.

Danny Mazariegos netted the second goal of the game off a pass from defender Cody Loss.

Fredy Lopez and Alvarez added a pair goals for MCC.

MCC goalie Ben Fales made three saves in recording the shutout.

The Jayhawks improved to 6-1 on the season and now look to three big games next week with Ancilla CC, Cincinnati CC and Schoolcraft CC all visiting MCC.
