Tigers 6, Royals 5 (11 innings) – Ian Kinsler’s game-winning home run in the 11th inning gave the Tigers their second straight walk-off win and third consecutive extra innings victory, as they defeated the Kansas City Royals on Saturday night.

Tigers’ relief pitcher Tom Gorzelanny picked up the victory, pitching two scoreless innings allowing one hit while striking out two.

The Tigers will look to get a three-game sweep of the Royals with a victory on Sunday afternoon.
