Indians 4, Tigers 0 – The Tigers’ offense were held scoreless for the seventh time this season, as the Cleveland Indians defeated Detroit on Sunday afternoon.

Victor Martinez hit his 18^th double of the season for the Tigers.

Detroit starting pitcher Justin Verlander had a strong outing despite taking the loss, allowing three runs on seven hits in seven innings. He had a no-hitter going through 4 2/3 innings.

The Tigers will start a three-game series on Monday afternoon with the Tampa Bay Rays.

Record: 62-74
