The Muskegon Lumberjacks fell to 0-2 in the exhibition season with a 6-1 loss to the host Bloomington Thunder on Wednesday.LSJ Logo incert

Steven Merl, a former Lumberjack, and Logan Lamdin each scored a pair of goals for the Thunder, who also defeated Muskegon on Tuesday. Rem Pitlick notched the only goal for the Jacks.

Bloomington scored three times in the first period, once in the second and twice more in the third. The Thunder had a 27-18 advantage in shots.

The Lumberjacks will participate in this weekend’s Subway Shootout preseason event in Green Bay, playing the Team USA Under 17 squad on Saturday and the Team USA Under 18 squad on Sunday.
