Christian Martinez passed for a touchdown and rushed for another score as Muskegon Catholic earned a 42-11 win over Orchard View.
Martinez scored on a TD run and hit LaTommy Scott on a TD pass.
Scott also scored a rushing TD, while he scored on 49-yard kickoff return.
Sam Mitchell hit Trehshaun Kelly on a a TD pass and Ben Rodriguez kicked a 22-yard field goal for OV.
MCC rushed for 300 yards.
Scott 17 rushed times for 169 yards rushing and Helton 16 had carries for 53 yards. Martinez 7 attempts for 31 yards. Longest for 24 yards Miles Novotny led MCC’s defense with eight tackles, Savion Thompson had seven and Nate Jones had six tackles
OV had 110 yards of total offense.
“We controlled things up front well and I thought that was a key to the game., said MCC coach Steve Czerwon. “They did some things on the interiors that gave us trouble. LaTommy scored three touchdowns three different ways. He’s got a lot of versatility. Lot of quickness. He had a nice run on the read options, showed some athletic ability and that was positive to see no doubt.”
