White Sox 4, Tigers 3 – Leury Garcia’s walk-off RBI single in the ninth inning led the Chicago White Sox over the Tigers on Saturday night.
Miguel Cabrera ended his second longest homerless streak, hitting a two-run home run in the sixth inning to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead.
James McCann and J.D. Martinez also doubled for the Tigers.
Detroit starting pitcher Justin Verlander took a no decision in his final game of the season, allowing two runs on five hits in six innings.
Tigers’ closer Neftali Feliz pitched his seventh blown save of the season.
The Tigers will look to avoid the sweep against the White Sox with a victory in their last game of the season on Sunday afternoon.
