Holland West Ottawa jumped out to a 7-0 lead, but Grand Haven (3-6) quickly responded with a 65-yard rushing touchdown from Trey Bledsoe to tie the game.Ryder Smith then gave Grand Haven a 14-7 lead when he scored on a four yard touchdown run.After West Ottawa cut the Grand Haven lead to 14-13, the Buccaneers responded with a 43-yard flea flicker pass from Levi Overway to Lukas Steffel to extend their lead to 22-13 before halftime.

Grand Haven opened up the third quarter with a touchdown run by Logan Taylor and a two point conversion by Bledsoe to extend the Grand Haven lead to 30-13.

Overway later added to the Grand Haven lead with a five yard touchdown run to give Grand Haven a 37-13 lead.

The ensuing kickoff was then fumbled by Holland West Ottawa and scooped up and ran back by Joey Zelenka for a 35 yard touchdown giving Grand Haven a 44-13 lead.
