With the win, the Spartans improve to six and three on the year and automatically qualify for a playoff berth.

Mason County Central started the scoring on Friday night in the first quarter when Cody Soberalski punched in a two yard touchdown run to take a 7-0 lead.

With three minutes remaining in the second quarter, the Spartans took a 13-0 lead on a one-yard touchdown run from Spencer Knizacky.

However the Spartans weren’t done scoring in the first half, with only 25 seconds remaining Knizacky found Travis Tyndall from 15 yards out for a passing touchdown to take a 20-0 halftime lead.

In the third quarter Knizacky and Tyndall connected again from five yards out to give Mason County Central a commanding 26-0 lead.

Soberalski found the endzone on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter to give the Spartans a 32-0 lead before the Orioles responded with a ten yard touchdown pass from Jared Collins to Andrew Jones to cut the Spartan lead to 32-7.

The final score of the night came with under one minute remaining when Logan Merrick of the Spartans punched in one-yard touchdown run.Ad 2 - Sprint
