Mona Shores is in tenth place after the first day of the Division 2 State Golf Finals at Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek.
The Sailors shot a first day score of 377 and trail leader Birmingham Seaholm by 42 strokes.
Kendall McKinley and Darian Smith led the Sailors as they both shot 88.
Andrea Majeski (92), Kennedy Potts (109) and Maddie Sewick (109) rounded out the scores for Mona Shores.
Reeths-Puffer’s Karina VanDuinen shot an 82 and is tied for eighth overall in the individual competition.
