The game was a defensive battle as the teams stayed within four to six points of each other most of the night.

Iyana Brown led the Trojans (3-2) with 21 points, nine rebounds, four assists, eight steals, and three blocks. Alyssa Veil and Katie Veihl combined for 20 rebounds for the Trojans.

Hannah Roberts led the Eagles (3-1) with 11 points while Allyson Richards added 10 points and eight rebounds.

MUSKEGON 66, ORCHARD VIEW 28 – Muskegon used a 47-13 second half advantage to win on the road Friday night. The Big Reds (3-1), got a triple-double from Madrekia Cook with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists while Tierra Williams had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Mari Brown led the Cardinals (0-5, 0-2) with 18 points.

TRI-UNITY CHRISTIAN 46, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 41- Muskegon Catholic led throughout the game, but couldn’t hold on late against Tri-Unity. The Crusaders (3-2) were outscored 17-7 in the fourth quarter after entering with a 34-29 lead. Zoie Price led MCC with 12 points and eight rebounds. Talia Tyler chipped in seven points and five assists. Cierra Smith scored 17 points for the Defenders.

MANISTEE 45, LUDINGTON 27– Manistee jumped out to a 17-5 lead after one quarter and controlled the game from there. Natalee Kott led Manistee with 18 points. The Orioles were led by Mikayla Mesyar, who scored 12 points.

MORLEY STANWOOD 64, HESPERIA 11Dezi Nowlin led Hesperia with five points while Cheyenne Witte added four.
