A strong second quarter propelled the Reeths-Puffer girls basketball team to a 53-24 victory over Kenowa Hills Friday in O-K Black action.
Brooke Larabee finished the game with 18 points for the Rockets while Delaney Bolles added 14 points to go along with 12 rebounds. The Knights were led by with Carley Gruzin with six points.
FRUITPORT CALVARY CHRISTIAN 47, WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 36 – The Eagles used a 12-4 second quarter edge to turn a tied game into a victory. Allyson Richards had a huge game for Fruitport Calvary with 18 points and 18 rebounds while Madison Heiss added 10 points. Leading the Warriors were Cassie Kingma and Katelyn Wright, who each scored 14 points.
HUDSONVILLE 37, GRAND HAVEN 29 – The Eagles stifled the Bucs’ scoring in the second quarter, holding them to two points. Hudsonville’s Kasey Desmit led the charge with 17 points, four assists and five steals. Alli Keyser paced Grand Haven with 16 points, three steals and three assists.
