Oakridge got a shot off with about seven seconds left, but the ball didn’t go in.

“We got the look we wanted,” said Oakridge Coach Tracy Ruel. “It missed, but thankfully we got the rebound and kicked it out to Brady.”

Luttrull caught the pass at his legs and hit the shot as the buzzer rang, giving the Eagles the one-point victory.

Oakridge improved to 5-3 overall and 4-2 in conference play. The Spartans are now 5-3 overall and 3-3 in the league.

James Cooper III led Oakridge with 18 points while Luttrull finished with 17.
