Penguins 6, Red Wings 3 – The Pittsburgh Penguins cruised to victory over the Red Wings on Thursday night.

LSJ Logo incertPhil Kessel led the Penguins with two goals, while Matt Cullen and Sidney Crosby each scored a goal and picked up an assist. Patric Hornqvist and Chris Kunitz chipped in with two assists each.

The Red Wings’ goals were scored by Tomas Jurco, Dylan Larkin and Henrik Zetterberg.

The Red Wings are now 29-20-9 on the season, good for 67 points and third place in the Atlantic Division. They are four points ahead of New Jersey for the final playoff spot.

Detroit will continue its road trip on Saturday night against the Ottawa Senators.
