The Fruitport Calvary Christian girls basketball team remained undefeated in Alliance League play with a 45-42 victory over Holland Black River on Friday night.

Madison Heiss made a late jump shot and FCC converted its free throws down the stretch.

Hannah Roberts led the Eagles with 17 points while Allyson Richards added 14 points and 13 rebounds.

KENT CITY 59, HOLTON 47 – Kent City outscored Holton 23-13 in the third quarter en route to a Central State Activities Association Silver Division win. Kaitlyn Geers led the Eagles (13-3, 5-1) with 17 points while Meghan Boyd added 16 points. The Red Devils (7-7, 1-5) were led by Mikaela Baker with 12 points.

REETHS-PUFFER 45, GRAND RAPIDS KENOWA HILLS 22 – Reeths-Puffer jumped out to a 29-12 halftime lead in an O-K Black Conference game. Brooke Larabee led the Rockets (12-2, 5-1) with 16 points while Delaney Bolles added 13.

GRAND RAPIDS COVENANT CHRISTIAN 53, WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 21 – Grand Rapids Covenant Christian built an 11-3 first quarter lead and led 31-12 at halftime. Covenant Christian’s Kara Minderhoud sled the Chargers with 19 points. Harlie Hubers paced WMC with seven points.
