The Lakers split the title with both Fruitport and Ludington after winning it outright last season. The Lakers leapt out to a massive 23-3 lead after the first quarter and cruised on for the victory.

Junior Reiko Johnson’s 21 points stole the show for Spring Lake. Senior Remi French posted another 12 points for the Lakers. Mari Brown paced the Cardinals (1-9, 2-16) with 20 points.

MUSKEGON 67, ZEELAND EAST 43 – Muskegon used a 39-26 second-half advantage to coast to victory. Mardrekia Cook led the Big Reds (16-4, 8-2) with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.

GRAND HAVEN 38, WEST OTTAWA 30 – Grand Haven overcame a 10-4 first-quarter deficit and found themselves with a 31-19 lead after the third quarter. The Bucs were led by Alli Keyser with 17 points. Audrey Pohl and Carleigh Eidson each had seven points for West Ottawa.
