MCC led 35-27 at the end of the third quarter. Fremont nearly doubled their score in the fourth with a 25-21 advantage, but MCC made 11 fourth-quarter free throws to seal the win.

Christian Martinez led the Crusaders with 22 points — 11 of which came in the fourth. Walker Christoffersen added nine points.

Fremont was led by Ryan Geeting and Nathan Hoffman, who scored 16 and 15 points, respectively. Hoffman added eight rebounds, five steals and five assists.
