The North Muskegon boys basketball team got past Mason County Central 74-66 in double-overtime on Friday night in West Michigan Conference action.
North Muskegon’s Erick Bleakley forced overtime with a game-tying 3-point shot in the closing seconds of regulation.
Both teams struggled in overtime, scoring two points apiece and forcing a second extra session, when the Norse took control.
North Muskegon was led by Vernonell Smith with 23 points and 16 rebounds, while Bleakley added 21 points.
Mitch Lange paced the Spartans with 23 points and eight rebounds, while Ryan Mount chipped in with 17 points.
