The Orchard View girl’s basketball team picked up its second win of the season in thrilling fashion Friday, downing Muskegon Catholic 43-40 in overtime.
OV’s Janaya Ferrell converted on a layup with two seconds left to send the game to overtime. In the extra session, Mari Brown scored all six Cardinal points to lead her team to the win.
Brown finished with 14 points and assisted on the game-tying basket. Ferrell had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Cardinals.
Madison Lewis scored 11 points for the Crusaders.
