Spring Golf Tip
As we start getting ready to start swinging, let’s make sure our bodies are ready.
The golf motion involves many different muscles that we don’t normally use on a consistent basis, especially in the winter. To wake up those muscles we need to gradually
start energizing them.
A good way to do this is to simply start swinging the club slowly with shorter mini swings and then gradually working into a full swing as the tempo increases.
A good way to enhance the intensity of the motion is to swing your driver with the head cover still on it. Stretching is also a must. With the golf motion, flexibility is much more important than brute strength and flexibility also helps increase range of motion and minimize risk of injury.
