Lightning 5, Red Wings 2 – The Tampa Bay Lightning scored three unanswered goals to break a 2-2 tie and defeat the Red Wings in Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs on Friday night.

Tampa Bay was led by Tyler Johnson with two goals and two assists while Alex Killorn and Nikita Kucherov chipped in with a goal and an assist.

Dylan Larkin and Brad Richards each scored a goal for the Red Wings.

Detroit’s Mike Pelfrey pitched the loss, allowing one run on five hits in six innings.
