A’s 5, Tigers 1 – Rich Hill pitched the Oakland Athletics to victory over the Tigers on Tuesday night.

LSJ Logo incertHill pitched seven scoreless innings for the A’s, allowing four hits while striking out eight batters.

Oakland was led offensively by Josh Reddick with three hits while Marcus Semien added a two-run home run.

The Tigers scored their lone run in the ninth inning on an RBI double by Victor Martinez.
