The North Muskegon soccer team used a strong first half to beat Montague 3-1 on Friday.

Reyna Johnson, Abby Grevel, and Kendall Hoppa each had a goal for North Muskegon.

The Norse picked up assists from Katie Robertson, Megan Sroka, and Hoppa.

The Wildcats lone goal was scored during the second half when Kirsten Kelly found the back of the net.

North Muskegon outshot Montague 14-6 on the day, Norsemen goalkeeper Gus Keur stopped five shots.

MONA SHORES 8, WYOMING 0 – Mona Shores was led by Raegan Cox and Sarah Mikesell with two goals and two assists each while Peyton Erndteman added a goal and three assists for the Sailors. Megan Swanker picked up the win in net.

HUDSONVILLE 4, FRUITPORT 0- The Fruitport girls soccer team dropped a non-conference match with Hudsonville on Friday. The Trojans trailed just 1-0 at the half, but couldn’t find the back of the net to climb back into the game. Goalkeeper Marisa Carmean stopped eight shots for Fruitport.

FREMONT 4, GRANT 3 – The Fremont girls soccer team picked up a comeback win over Grant on Friday. The Packers trailed 2-0 at halftime before outscoring Grant 4-1 during the second half. Katie Parkhurst led the Packers with two goals while Bryar Vasquez and Julie Vallernaut each added a goal.

WHITEHALL 6, RAVENNA 0 – Hanna Evans led Whitehall with three goals on Friday. Lauren Baustert added a goal and two assists for the Vikings, while Alex Fleener chipped in with a goal and an assist. Sophia Stevens picked up the win for the Vikings in net, stopping six Bulldog shots.
