The Grand Haven softball team opened its season with a 13-0 five-inning victory over Montague on Monday.
The Buccaneers collected 10 hits on the day, including two apiece from Kylie Masko and Audrey Boersen.
Masko added three RBIs while also pitching the final two innings without giving up a hit.
Starter Yogi Hang picked up the victory for Grand Haven, pitching three innings and allowing one hit.
