The Muskegon Community College baseball team saw its recent winning streak come to a halt on Tuesday with two losses to Kellogg Community College, 10-0 and 3-1.LSJ Logo incert

The Jayhawks only managed three hits in the opener, and hurt themselves with four errors in the field. Pitcher Rhett Holwerda was roughed up in the loss, surrendering nine hits and four earned runs in 3 1/3 innings.

In Game 2, MCC played Kellogg even until late in the game, when Kellogg scored twice to secure the win. Brian Erndteman pitched well for the Jayhawks, scattering five hits with five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.

Five MCC players had one hit in the contest.

The Jayhawks dropped to 8-12 overall and 1-2 in conference action.
