Katelyn Goodrich finished the day with four hits and eight RBIs for Whitehall, including an inside-the-park grand slam. Jessica Uganski added two hits and three RBIs, Halle Wagenmaker had two hits and two RBIs and Madison Bond had two hits and two RBIs.

The Norse (0-3) were led by Megan Massey, who recorded a hit.

MONTAGUE 19-10, SHELBY 3-0 – Montague’s Courtney Lohman only allowed two hits and recorded seven strikeouts in Game 1. Brandi Rice went 3-for-4 with five RBIs, Allyssa Bobian went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Sydney Stine went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. In game two, Lohman struck out seven more while only allowing three hits. Hannah Smith went 3-for-4, which included an inside-the-park home run. Bobian was 3-for-3 with two RBIs, Rice had two hits and three RBIs and Emma Rupert went 2-for-3.

WEST OTTAWA 10-9, MONA SHORES 8-8 – The Sailors came up short in both games of a non-league doubleheader against West Ottawa. Game 1 saw Shores’ Taylor Dew, Mackenzie Willeke and Mackenzie Quinn each record two hits. Quinn produced a solo home run in the sixth inning, but the Sailors came up two runs short. In Game 2, the Sailors jumped out to an 8-6 lead, but failed to close the deal. Willeke and Dew each had three hits.
