The Spring Lake baseball team swept Orchard View on Tuesday in a Lakes 8 doubleheader, 6-3 and 10-2.
In Game 1, the Lakers got a stellar pitching performance from Jacob Gray, who went seven innings, striking out three batters and giving up no earned runs. Damontay Tyson led the hitters with two RBIs while Griffin Lorimer scored two runs.
In Game 2, Ryan Peets picked up the win, pitching four 2/3 innings while striking out six Orchard View hitters. Lucas Underwood led the Lakers with three hits, two RBIs, and one run scored while Trenton Dove, David Rumptz, and Tyler Murak all added two hits.
Dove and Rumptz each added two RBIs while Murak had an RBI of his own.
