The Western Michigan Christian/Muskegon Catholic Central co-op team improved to 2-1 this season with a lopsided sweep of Godwin Heights, 15-0 and 19-4. lsj-fb-logo

In the opener, the Warriors’ Ashley Sandin had two hits and four RBIs, while Haylee Moster, Caroline Price and Hannah Pell each added two hits.

Price got the pitching victory, as she struck out eight in three innings and surrendered two hits.

In Game 2, Catherine Bardford-Royle smacked three hits and four RBIs in the mercy-shortened win. Emily Rauch also totaled two hits and four RBIs. Moser earned the pitching win, giving up four runs on five hits and striking out five.
