The Spring Lake soccer team defeated Kenowa Hills 6-1 on Tuesday night in the first round of the Division 2 districts.
The Lakers were paced by Saebryn Peel and Emily Batts with two goals each while Grace Thornley and Madeline Zenas each added a goal apiece.
Spring Lake goalkeeker Gracie VanLangevelde picked up the win in net, stopping three shots.
The Lakers outshot Kenowa Hills by a 12-4 margin.
Spring Lake will play Coopersville at Sparta in the district semifinals at 5 p.m. on Thursday. The Broncos advanced by blanking Muskegon 3-0 in their first round game.
