The Western Michigan Christian boys soccer team scored three second half goals in a two-minute span to overcome a halftime deficit to defeat Fruitport 4-3 in a non-league game on Tuesday.

The Trojans responded with two goals from Zack Shane to give Fruitport a 2-1 lead at halftime.

WMC tied the score at 2-2 on a goal by Chance Larson, took a 3-2 lead on a Evan Fles score and grabbed a 4-2 advantage on a Tyler Van Beek goal.

Fruitport closed out the scoring on Shane’s hat-trick goal.

The Warriors outshot Fruitport by a 21-8 margin.
