A bad second half sends Holton to a 49-14 league loss to Morley-Stanwood

Holton trailed 8-0 after one quarter and 21-14 at halftime. Morley-Stanwood took control by outscoring the Red Devils 29-0 in the second half.

Holton’s touchdowns came on a 50-yard pass from Brandon Epplett to Nick Swenson, as well as a rushing score by Brent McLaughlin.

Epplett had a good night on both sides of the ball, completing 4 of 5 passes for 86 yards and rushing 12 times for 64 yards. He also led the team with 12 tackles.

McLaughlin added 51 yards rushing on 13 carries for Holton. Mason Butchart had eight tackles and a fumble recovery.
