Hesperia had a first down inside the Goodwin Heights 10-yard line with under six minutes to play.
After three unsuccessful attempts, the Panthers went for it on fourth down from the 1-yard line. They were unable to get in the end zone, allowing Godwin Heights to take over and secure the victory.

Kanin Witte led Hesperia with 109 rushing yards and a touchdown. Gerritt Yates ran for 95 yards and a score, while Greg Balkema rushed for 87 yards.

Brandon Goins also found the end zone for the Panthers. Scott Peters led the Hesperia defense with 10 tackles.
