The Holton football team struggled offensively in a 30-0 loss against Kent City in a C.S.A.A. Silver Division game on Friday night.
Kent City took an 8-0 lead at halftime on a safety and fumble recovery in the end zone.
The Eagles overpowered a tired Holton team during the second half, scoring 22 unanswered points.
Holton quarterback Blake Fialek passed for 42 yards while Brandon Epplett had 18 rushing yards.
Mason Butchart led the Red Devils’ defense with 10 tackles and one forced fumble while Epplett and Cameron Whitener each added eight tackles.
The Red Devils are now 1-2 on the season and 0-1 in league play.
