Mona Shores/R-P girls co-op swim team loses a close conference meet

The Mona Shores/Reeths-Puffer girls co-op swim team suffered a close loss to the Caledonia-Lowell-South Christian co-op team 95-88 on Thursday.

Raegan Lockhart had a first place finish in the 100-meter breast stroke, Morgan Monette finished first in the 500-meter freestyle and Ari Cavanaugh took the top spot in the 50-meter freestyle.

Other first place finishers for Mona Shores were diver Kasandra Meyers, and the team of Cavanaugh, Anni Cotner, Liz McNally, and Mackenzie Ralstonk in the 200-meter medley relay.

The team, now 6-3 overall and 1-2 in the O-K Rainbow Conference, will swim again on Thursday at Grand Rapids Union High School.
