The Muskegon Big Reds posted yet another impressive offensive display on Friday against Grand Rapids Union, thumping the winless Red Hawks 69-0 in O-K Black Conference play.

The Big Reds jumped out to a 35-0 lead after the first quarter, led 49-0 at halftime and had a 62-0 advantage after three quarters.

La’darius Jefferson led the Big Reds offensively with 42 rushing yards, three completed passes that garnered 50 yards, and one touchdown. Jefferson Clinton Jr. provided the team with 59 rushing yards and one 21-yard pass reception.

Kalil Pimpleton added a 50-yard punt return touchdown for Muskegon.

The Big Reds rolled up 301 yards in total offense. Muskegon’s defense held Union to eight yards of total offense.

Andrew Ward and Jacorey Sullivan each had a pass interception for Muskegon. Nacarri Miles, DJ Jackson and Paul Riley had three sacks apiece.
