Reeths-Puffer’s varsity volleyball squad made quick work of Muskegon, but then needed a full five sets before outlasting Jenison in an O-K Black double dual on Wednesday at Mona Shores High School. 
The Rockets defeated Muskegon (25-9, 25-7, 25-10), but nearly coughed up a two-set lead against the Wildcats (25-18, 25-20, 23-25, 22-25, 15-13).
Outside hitter Camryn Vanderleest had a team-high 30 kills in the thrilling win over the Wildcats. Delaney Bolles was big at the net with five solo blocks, while Anna Young had 15 kills and nine digs.
Setter Ellory Farmer had 34 assists and 10 digs, while Ashley Vos provided some hot serving with five aces and a total of 15 during the Rockets’ two matches.
