The Western Michigan Christian volleyball team lost a five-set match to Grand Rapids Covenant Christian on Friday, 3-2.
The set scores were 23-25, 30-28, 25-21, 23-25 and 12-15. The two teams, former conference rivals, are now 1-1 against each other this year.
Cassie Kingma led WMC with 14 kills, Ashley Sandin had 37 assists, Anna Sytsema had 16 service points and three aces.
Haylee Moser contributed 25 digs for the Warriors while Kingma had four blocks.
