Kenowa Hills was second, followed by Jenison, Reeths-Puffer and Mona Shores.

Leading the Trojans was senior Aaron Simot with a first-place time of 16 minutes, 15 seconds. Mitch Johnson was second overall at 16:27, while Cameron Oleen was fifth (16:48), Brenden Deneen was seventh (16:53), and Nick Kleinheksel took ninth (17:14).

Each of those Trojans earned All Conference honors.

Fruitport was also crowned GMAA City champions on Oct. 14, with Simon running a new course record of 16:02.
