Grand Haven falls to East Kentwood in O-K Red action, 24-9

The Grand Haven football team was officially eliminated from playoff contention on Friday night.

Grand Haven trailed 14-0 after the first quarter, 17-0 at the half and 17-6 after three quarters.

Buccaneers running back Adrian Nelson scored on a four-yard touchdown run while Brady Jonas added a 40-yard field goal.

Grand Haven quarterback Logan Taylor threw for 102 yards on 9-for-23 passing while Joey Zelenka rushed for 128 yards on 17 carries.

Drake Morley paced the Bucs defense with eight tackles.
