The Muskegon Catholic football team blanked Manistee 48-0 on Friday night in Lakes 8 Conference action.
The Crusaders improved to 7-0 overall and clinched the conference championship with an undefeated 4-0 record for the third straight season.
Logan Helton opened the scoring on a 34-yard run to give the Crusaders a 7-0 lead.
MCC scored 27 points in the second quarter on a one- yard run by Trenton Bordeaux, 25-yard fumble recovery return by Helton and two 28-yard touchdown passes from Cameron Martinez – one to Ryder Smith and the other to Mason Convertini.
The Crusaders led 34-0 at halftime.
MCC grabbed a 41-0 advantage in the third quarter on a nine-yard touchdown pass from Bordeaux to Convertini.
Dawson Steigman closed out the scoring for MCC with a 44-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
LaTommy Scott paced the Crusaders with 82 yards on 12 carries, while Martinez threw for 74 yards and two touchdowns on 6-of-6 passing.
