Norse blank Hart in soccer 6-0, advance to West Michigan Conference finals

Justice Sikkema’s five-goal performance led the North Muskegon soccer team over Hart on Monday night in the West Michigan Conference Tournament semifinals.

LSJ Logo incertThe Norse, who are now 14-0-2 on the season and 7-0 in league play, will play the winner of Whitehall and Shelby on Tuesday night for the tournament title.

Brody Hoffman added a goal for North Muskegon, while Zach Burdon, Tommy Gautraud and Dylan Hoffman each picked up an assist.

North Muskegon goalkeepers Ian Collins and Zach Massey combined for the shutout win, stopping all five shots faced.

    Why doesn’t the lsj write for both teams? The coverage is terrific but single sided all the time. This article looks like it belongs in the north Muskegon high school Tuesday morning announcements. Maybe that’s what this website is? Or does it really have editors? See anything in here about Hart other than it’s the team that lost? If it’s not going to be journalistic, change its name.
