The North Muskegon golf team finished second overall in regional action on Wednesday at Silver Lake Country Club and will now advance to play in the state finals.
The Norsemen finished with a total of 386, 44 shots behind first place Hackett Catholic Prep.
Leading North Muskegon was sophomore Lindsay Bliss, who finished second overall with a round of 82. Sophomore teammate Abigail Grevel finished sixth overall with a 91.
The rest of North Muskegon’s lineup included Madison Grevel with a 105; Sarah Staniforth with a 108; and Amaya Gonzalez with a 113.
North Muskegon will next travel to Forest Akers West on the Michigan
State University campus for the Division 4 state finals on Oct. 14 and 15.
