The Oakridge football team wasted no time dismantling Mason County Central 42-7 on Friday night to improve to 6-1 overall and clinch a postseason playoff berth.

Oakridge quarterback Brady Luttrull then scored on rushes of five and four yards to give the Eagles a 21-0 lead after one quarter.

Less than three minutes into the second quarter, Luttrull found the end zone from one-yard out to give Oakridge a 28-0 lead.

Running back Greg Garcia added a one-yard touchdown run before halftime to give the Eagles
a 35-0 lead.

Oakridge struck once more in the third quarter with a 39-yard touchdown run by Luttrull, before a Mason County Central fourth quarter touchdown capped off the scoring for the night.

Luttrull finished the night with 143 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 12 carries, while completing 7 of 9 passes for 114 yards.

Masterman added 44 yards and one touchdwon on seven carries, while Garcia finished with 35 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.

The Eagles were led defensively by Kaleab Ehnen with four tackles, including one sack, while Leroy Quinn had four tackles of his own.

Oakridge will face Montague next week for the West Michigan Conference title.
