The Spring Lake volleyball team lost a five-set match to Grand Rapids West Catholic on Tuesday in an OK-Blue Conference game.
Spring Lake won the first set 25-23, lost the second 25-16, took a 2-1 advantage with a 25-17 win in the third frame, and then fell by service scores of 25-18 and 15-12 in the final two sets.
Olivia Grimmer led the Lakers with 24 digs and 13 kills while Caitie Estep added 44 assists. Coco McKeough also had four aces for Spring Lake and Isabel Donnelly contributed with three blocks.
The Lakers are now 12-17 on the season and 5-6 in O-K Blue Conference play.
