The Fruitport Calvary Christian volleyball team’s season came to an end on Tuesday night with a five-set
Class D regional semifinal loss to Pentwater at Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart High School.
Pentwater won with service scores of 13-25, 25-22, 27-25, 20-25, and 15-11.
Alyssa Johnson led Fruitport Calvary with 19 points, nine assists, and six aces, Audrey Vereeke added 29 assists, 12 digs, 11 points and three aces while Becca Kozicki also had 11 points, eight digs and two aces.
