Spurs 96, Pistons 86 – The Pistons dropped their fifth straight road game on Friday night against the San Antonio Spurs.

LSJ Logo incertDetroit trailed 28-26 after the first quarter, led 52-49 at halftime and was down 75-67 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Spurs were led by Pau Gasol with 21 points and nine rebounds, while Kawhi Leonard added 17 points and LaMarcus Aldridge contributed with 14 points along with a team-high 12 rebounds.

The Pistons are now 4-5 on the season and are tied for eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings.Eye on the D

Andre Drummond paced Detroit with 20 points and 17 rebounds.

Detroit will finish its road trip out west on Saturday night against the Denver Nuggets looking for its first win on the trip.
